Guy Buffet has created hundreds, rather thousands of paintings over his forty year
career as a professional artist. His themes vary from French, American, Pacific Islands,
Chinese and European to mention only a few. Guy typically uses acrylic paints on canvas
or watercolors on paper for his work, in a wide range of sizes. He has been busy creating
new and fascinating designs which are appropriate for many different uses. Guy's newest
style has proven very effective in commercial applications. His Perrier-Joüet original acrylic
painting, "Ball of the Century", commissioned in 2002 for their 100th Anniversary of the Fleur
Bottle Vintage, has been a great success for the brand.
From wine bottles to store fronts, Guy's inspired works will continue to show up in places such as National Restaurant Association's Annual Convention in Chicago, the Portrait Project of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama for the Committee of 100 for Tibet, as well as charity events, public showings and licensed products for his collector's enjoyment. |
